Dr. Becky Nevotti - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Nevotti is a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine. She was raised in Fort Bend County and wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember.

Since graduation, she has worked as a veterinarian in multiple roles including small animal general medicine, surgery, urgent care and acupuncture, education, and most recently, as a house call veterinarian. Dr. Nevotti joined SPAH in 2011, took a brief hiatus, and is now returning to the practice because she missed the exceptional staff, clientele, and facilities that SPAH has to offer.

She is passionate about holistic veterinary care which combines Western and Eastern Medicine to provide the best "whole animal" approach to veterinary care. Additionally, she is dedicated to educating and mentoring future vets, vet students, veterinarians, and veterinary technicians, and currently holds an instructor role at Pima Medical Institute teaching veterinary technicians. In addition to holistic veterinary care and mentoring, Dr. Nevotti is passionate about nutrition, dermatology, geriatrics, and soft tissue surgery. After studying for 2 years, in March of 2022, Dr. Nevotti received her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) from the prestigious Chi University. Dr. Nevotti feels that studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and incorporating it into practice with traditional Western medicine, has allowed her to become an even better and more well-rounded veterinarian.

Dr. Nevotti strives to develop a personal connection with each and every colleague, student, pet, and family and believes strongly in the human-animal bond. Outside of work, she is active as a volunteer on two committees for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and has a passion for educating youth about careers in veterinary medicine and animal health. Dr. Nevotti has two beautiful children in high school, two dogs, and one cat, and currently lives right here in Missouri City.
